1. Introduction
Welcome to Webflow Intellimize Inspector. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle any information when you use our Chrome extension.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This extension is designed to be minimal, transparent, and read-only.
2. Information We Collect
The extension collects **no personal information** from you. Specifically:
- It reads the
wfIntellimizeCustomerIdfrom the current page's HTML dataset (if present). - It reads only the
intellimize_activity_{customerId}key from localStorage on the current tab to detect running variations for the current page load. - When you click “Fetch Campaigns”, it makes a one-time read-only request to
https://api.intellimize.co/customer/{yourCustomerId}using your own Customer ID as a Bearer token.
All of the above data belongs to Webflow/Intellimize and is already present in your browser when you visit a Webflow site with Intellimize enabled.
3. How We Use the Information
The data is used **only** to:
- Display your Intellimize campaigns, experiments, and variations in the popup.
- Highlight which variations are currently running on the page you are viewing.
- Provide filters and a clean user interface for easier debugging and testing.
No data is logged, analyzed, or used for any other purpose.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do **not** share, sell, rent, or transmit any data to any third party. The only external communication is the direct API call you initiate to Intellimize’s official servers.
5. Data Storage
All operations happen locally inside your browser. Nothing is stored on our servers. Your Customer ID (if entered) is kept only temporarily in memory while the popup is open.
6. Permissions Used
- activeTab + scripting: To safely read page data and localStorage only on the tab where you click the extension icon.
- https://api.intellimize.co/*: Solely to fetch campaign details from Intellimize’s API.
These are the minimal permissions required and are used only when you actively use the extension.
7. Your Rights
You can remove or disable the extension at any time. You can also clear your browser’s localStorage or site data if you wish to remove any Intellimize-related information.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. The “Last Updated” date at the top will be changed accordingly. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
This extension was built with one goal in mind: to help Webflow developers inspect Intellimize tests — without ever compromising user privacy.
